As we don't supply the cake for the ASDA photo cake service, we cannot provide the latest set of ingredients and allergens.  Please check the cake box in store for ingredients, allergens and use by date.

ASDA photo cakes have a shelf life of 1+ weeks, but please check the date on the cake box when purchasing.  It is perfectly fine to get your photo cake several days in advance of your celebration.  Store it in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight and not in the fridge!

Toppers can be printed for rectangular, square, circular cakes and cupcakes. Once you upload your image, it can be rotated and resized to suit your design.

Yes, but you will need to create the collage using your own software and then save it as a single image. It can then be uploaded to the design tool and you'll have options to add a frame and/or message to the image.

We will not print a personalised cake topper which includes any content (image and/or message) which may:

- defame, abuse, bully, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise offend others;

- be unlawful, obscene, defamatory, seditious, indecent, offensive, liable to incite racial hatred, liable to incite violence, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, be in breach of confidence, be in breach of privacy or be inappropriate;

- breach any applicable laws or regulations;

- promote sexually explicit material or violence;

- include information that you do not have the right to disclose or make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships; or infringe upon patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights or other proprietary or Intellectual Property Rights.

This includes images such as:

- TV, game or movie characters, e.g. Disney, Nickelodeon

- Celebrity photos, e.g. football players, tv celebrities, etc.

- Sports club logos, e.g. football clubs, rugby clubs etc.

- Company logos (unless written permission is submitted with the order)

- Trademarks (unless written permission from the trademark owner is submitted with the order)

The image is printed on a sheet of sugar paste paper.  Please see below for a list of ingredients (of the sugar paper and edible ink):

Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup, non-hydrogenated palm oil, invert sugar syrup, added water, acacia gum, glycerine, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, xanthan gum, water, mono-propylene glycol, colours (E102, E122, E133), potassium sorbate, citric acid, tri-sodium citrate.

We use edible sugar paper for all our cake toppers and print with edible inks.

Ingredients

A set of instructions will be included with your topper, but here's a few quick pointers for putting the topper on your cake.

- Gently peel off the clear cover sheet

- For fondant icing, use a pastry brush to lightly wet the top of the cake around the edges. For cream and buttercream, skip this step

- Gently peel the topper from the backing sheet

- Place the topper centrally on the cake, being careful not to touch the picture

- Make sure to tap the edges to seal the topper on to the cake

- Finish it off with some piping or sprinkles around the edges

Note: Do not put your topper in the fridge, freezer or oven at any point. It is not necessary and will damage the image

Our cake toppers are made from sugar paste and will last up to a few months if kept in their sealed bags. Store them in a dark, cool and dry area, away from direct sunlight. Do not put your topper in the fridge, freezer or oven at any point. It is not necessary and will damage the image.

Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and exclude Bank Holidays.  Orders received on regular business days, Monday to Friday, before 12pm will be dispatched the same day.  Orders received after 12pm will be dispatched the following business day.

If you requested a tracked delivery service, or your order is over £25/€25, you will receive an email with tracking details for your order.   Please visit the tracking site for either Royal Mail or An Post to track your item.

If you requested standard delivery, we cannot track your order once it has left our facility. Your order will be in the Royal Mail or An Post mail system and while they are very reliable services, occasionally deliveries take a little longer than expected. Please our refer to Terms and conditions for further information

The toppers are packed with a clear cover sheet and sealed in a polythene bag.  This can cause the image to look a little unclear in some instances.  Please remove all packaging in order to assess your topper.

You must notify us of any problems within 3 days of delivery of your Topper.  Please take a photo of the topper and email it to us at (info@bigdaycakes.com) explaining what is wrong with it. We will follow up with you once we have that information.
